Senior Spotlight: Seth Hohlbein

Seth Hohlbein has attended Temple Christian for six years and is now a senior in high school. His parents are Tina and Craig, and he has an older sister who previously attended Temple, Amelia. Seth is heavily involved in sports, service, and academics at Temple. He has been class president for three consecutive years and has been a consistent good influence to the younger kids in the school. He serves as a gym aid to Mr. Kline, the history teacher, along with playing varsity basketball, golf, and baseball. Hohlbein is also a fantastic golfer, receiving an all-district honorable mention last year, along with a first team all-league selection.Not only is he a great golfer, but he is also a standout in basketball, being Temple’s leading scorer in a number of games.

In addition to sports and service, Seth has also been on the 3.5 or above GPA list consistently throughout high school, in addition to applying to the National Honor Society. His favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the Lord; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope.” This scripture truly helps describe the positive and encouraging vibe Seth always brings to those around him.

Seth also enjoys hanging out with his friends and works in the summer at Hidden Creek Golf Course. After high school, he plans to major in some sort of business or accounting, while also playing college golf if given the opportunity. Congratulations to Seth on a great high school career so far, and encourage him as you see him around the school!
