Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Linhart

Not many of you may know the new second-grade teacher Mrs. Linhart, but this is her first year at TCS. However, Linhart has been teaching for ten years now. She was born in Huntington, Indiana in 1977 and attended Huntington High School later in her life. She then went on to go to Huntington College and Saint Francis University all at the same time! Linhart majored in elementary teaching at Huntington and minored in special education teaching at Saint Francis.
After Linhart’s graduation from these two colleges in 1995, she began teaching in Marion, Indiana.  She and her husband, Brent, have lived here in Lima for twelve years now. Linhart is blessed with four wonderful daughters that she homeschooled for seven years, and now they are all attending TCS. Aubree is in 8th grade, Kaylee 6th, Mikaya 2nd, and Addia is in 1st. They are also foster parents, so they have many other children that they have the privilege of parenting at different times.

At Temple Christian, she teaches in the elementary school with the second grade and special needs students. Mrs. Linhart is a great person and cares about the kids in her class, and in others classes. When asked what her students enjoy most about her classroom she stated: “My kids really enjoy bubblegum math!” Mrs. Linhart is excited for her first year here at TCS and has been blessed by her students, Linhart stated, “I love being at Temple Christian, it is a wonderful school, and the chapels have been so special to me.”
