Elisha Winegardner

Senior Spotlight: Elisha Winegardner

Elisha Christina Winegardner was born on July 11, 1998, to parents Greg and Kimberly Winegardner, and she is currently eighteen years old. She has an older brother, Nathan, who graduated from Temple last year, and a younger sister, Lydia, who also attends Temple. Elisha has attended Temple Christian School for five years. During her time at Temple, Elisha has been involved in musicals and plays (Fiorello, Anchors Aweigh, and Little Women), played basketball and volleyball, and sang on the praise team during Wednesday chapel services. When asked what her favorite part of high school is, Elisha said that she is most looking forward to graduating because she will be able to move on to the next chapter of her life and see what God has in store for her. She attends Only Believe Ministries Christian Center in Botkins, where she is very involved in her youth group and is a member of their praise team.

Elisha plans to intern at her church after graduating high school. James 1:2-5 is her life verse, which says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” Elisha dreams of living in New York City someday and wants to visit Europe. When asked who she would spend her day with if she could spend it with any celebrity, she said that she would choose Andrew Garfield. Thank you for your time, Elisha, and have a great end of your senior year!
