Senior Spotlight: Shelby Feeney

Shelby Mae Feeney, born on June 10, 2000, has been a student at Temple Christian for nine years. She is the daughter of Dave and Kim Clevenger, and her siblings are Ellie, a current 8th grader, and Samuel, a current 2nd grader. Shelby has participated in many musicals, including Hello Dolly, Fiorello, Music Man. She is a member of the National Honors Society. She has been a part of the cheerleading squad and volleyball team all throughout high school. She says her favorite part of high school has been hanging out with friends. Shelby attends Crossroads church. Her favorite verse is Song of Songs 4:7, which states, “You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you.” Her post-high school plans consist of going to Rhodes State College for nursing. When asked what her dreams and aspirations are, she says to “live in New York City and be a foster parent someday.” Shelby’s advice to the underclassmen is to not procrastinate and to make memories every opportunity you get. Shelby says her friends have affected her life the most at Temple. When asked what celebrity or famous person she would spend a day with if she could, she responded by saying, “Blake Lively.”

Thank you, Shelby, for allowing Temple to have you as a student for the last nine years. We wish you the best as you start the rest of your life!
