System Maintenance Schedule

The TCS Technology Department has scheduled system maintenance the second and fourth Friday of every month between 6 and 10pm. During this time some campus systems may be unavailable, please plan accordingly for these possible outages. These outages will not typically affect email or any Google apps systems. If you have an event that may conflict with this schedule, please let us know and we will work around it.

FAQs

Staff and Students who have been given a TCS user account, may connect their devices to the wireless network. We do not directly support personal devices, however you may connect your devices to our campus wireless network using the instructions below.

Step 1

In your wireless settings, locate the TCS_802.1x wireless network.

Step 2

In the box that should come up on your device, locate the username or identity box and type your username. Example: jsmith

In the password box, type your password and click or tap connect.

If you would like to setup your tcspioneers.org email account on your Android mobile device, please follow the steps below.

Step 1

In your device settings locate ‘Account’ and select Add Account. Click Google.

Step 2

Type in your full email address, click next and enter your password. Click Next again, when prompted select ‘I Agree’

Step 3

Because this is an enterprise email account, you will be prompted to install the Google Apps Device Policy. Click Next.

Step 4 (optional)

You may optionally set up a work profile on your mobile device by going  to the Device Policy app and selecting ‘Create’ under Work Profile.

The advantage of the work profile is that the enterprise device administrator and device policies only apply within the work profile. The work profile essentially lives in a separate container from your personal accounts and information.

If you would like to setup your tcspioneers.org email account on your Android mobile device, please follow the steps below.

Step 1

Locate your device settings icon and tap it. Within the device settings find “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and select “Add Account”.

Select Google for the account type.

Sign into your @tcspioneers.org account using your full email address (username@tcspioneers.org), then click next and enter your password.

Select which items you would like to synchronize on your device.

Additional Options

If you would like, you may also install some of the Google iOS apps that are available. A few of the general apps are mentioned here.
