Hello TCS families. I trust you have had a good week. Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Psalm 100:4-5 says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name. For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations”. Here are a few news items that we wanted to share with you. Have a great weekend!
Elementary Thanksgiving Feasts:
The elementary students continued the tradition of having Thanksgiving feasts in their classrooms this week. Students enjoyed delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, corn and all the fixings. We appreciate the parents who donated food items and those who volunteered in the classrooms to make it all happen.
We have so much to be grateful for, and we are blessed to be able to celebrate God’s goodness this time of the year and always.
Additional Post-Season Soccer Awards:
Congratulation to Cameron Worsham for being named a 2nd Team All-State soccer player! Congrats Cameron, we are proud of you! Cameron also was able to participate in the Northwest District Senior All-Star game. Cameron scored a goal in the game! Also, congratulations are in order for Temple head soccer coach BJ McPheron for being named the Northwest District’s private school coach of the year! Great job Coach McPheron!

Elementary Christmas Ministry/Giving Opportunity:
For their Christmas project this year, elementary students have the opportunity of blessing two local organizations with items that they need as they minister to needy individuals and families in our community. Students received a handout today with specific items needed by Guiding Light Ministry, which is a faith-based organization for women who need help becoming self-sufficient. The organization provides shelter, education, guidance, and faith. The handout also includes items need by the GAP Pantry. This is a ministry, here at the Lima Baptist Temple, which provides needed household items for those in need in our community.
