Bethany Whitman was born on February 6, 2001. She is the youngest child of Mike and Paula Whitman. She has two older brothers, Israel and Judah Whitman.
Bethany has attended Temple Christian School for thirteen years. She participated in volleyball, cheerleading and several theatrical productions at Temple. Bethany performed in Fiorello!, Little Women, and Hello, Dolly! during her time at Temple. Bethany says her favorite part of high school has been hanging out with her classmates.
Bethany attends church at Church of the Good Shepherd in Columbus Grove, Ohio. Her favorite Bible verse is John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Bethany plans to major in elementary education at Oral Roberts University. When asked about her goals, Bethany says she aspires to get her dream job and meet the guy God has for her. If she could spend a day with any celebrity, Bethany says she would choose YouTuber Jess Conte, because she admires “her personality and how open she is about her relationship with God.” Bethany advises the underclassmen to “not worry about anything, but trust God through everything.” She says that her classmates at Temple have affected her life the most.

Sophie Grace Nicole White was born on September 6th, 2000. She is the daughter of Peter and Tami White. She has three siblings, Emma, Bryson, and Ryker, who also attend Temple.
Sophie has attended Temple since K4. She has helped with hair and makeup in drama productions and has also played volleyball for nine years, as well as basketball for six years. Sophie’s favorite part of high school is playing volleyball, getting involved in events, building stronger relationships, and being able to spend her last year of high school with her sister.
Sophie White currently attends church at Shawnee Alliance. Her favorite verse is Psalm 55:22, “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”
After high school Sophie hopes to become a great volleyball coach. She wants to meet her soulmate, raise a great family, and own a pot belly pig. If given the option to spend the day with any celebrity she wanted to, Sophie said she would choose Chris Brown because she loves his music and thinks he would be very fun to hang out with.
Sophie’s advice to the underclassmen is, “Don’t be afraid to build relationships with upperclassmen. We really aren’t that scary! Play sports and don’t quit! Some of my greatest friendships came from playing sports.” When asked what part of Temple has affected her life the most, Sophie said, “The friendships. Some of my longest friendships of 14 years have come from this school. Having a small class and being close with everyone has really been a blessing.”

Jennessa Nicole Sweeney was born on February 27, 2001, to Eric and Nicole Sweeney. She has three siblings: Jaden, Jacqueline, and Jean Daniel. Jennessa has attended Temple since 4th grade. She has been involved in cheer, as well as the play, Little Women, and the musical, Hello Dolly! Her favorite part of high school has been being able to form many memories with her fellow classmates.
Jennessa currently attends Calvary Church of Praise. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 26:3-4, which states, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” After high school, Jennessa plans to attend Wright State University to become a social worker. If she could spend a day with any famous person, Jennessa would choose Walt Disney, because, “it would be cool to see what he was like and to watch him be creative, and make Disney what it is.”
Jennessa’s dream is to graduate college and become successful in whatever field she goes into. Her advice to the underclassmen is to always study for tests and to try your best to keep your grades up. Temple has helped Jennessa by providing her with an atmosphere that encourages her to grow in her relationship with Christ.

Jaela Ann Shoup was born on September 27, 2000. She is the daughter of Manetta and Justin Shoup, and has a younger brother, Jaden, who also attends Temple. Jaela has attended Temple since her junior year of high school. Her favorite part of high school is the friendships she has made.
Jaela currently attends Grace Baptist Church. Her favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11, which says “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’.”
Jaela’s plans after high school include graduating from college and getting a good job. She says if she could spend a day with any celebrity or famous person, it would be Jennifer Lawrence because she “is a fun and outgoing person and likes adventure.”
Jaela’s advice to underclassmen is “Don’t procrastinate.” She says the part about Temple that has affected her life the most is that it has strengthened her relationship with God.
