Hello TCS families. We have reached the last day of school! It has been a unique last quarter, but we have made it through. Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me”. We trust that you enjoy your summer and that you remain safe and healthy. Music Department Distance Learning Activities:

Without the opportunity to make music together, Temple’s Band and Choir students have been interacting with music in a variety of unique ways. Musical distance learning activities have included things like…

  • Recording themselves performing sections of their Spring Concert music
  • Listening to and evaluating recordings made by their own groups as well as other bands or choirs
  • Thinking critically and writing about how to grow as musicians
  • Composing their own song lyrics
  • Creating and performing their own songs

Research shows that engaging in music is good for the brain and a stress-reliever. So it’s been a blessing to see all that the music students have accomplished during these nine weeks!

Re-enrollment:

Thanks to all those who have re-enrolled for the 2020-21 school year. If you have not yet re-enrolled, we would encourage you to do so soon.  Please let us know if the re-enrollment fee is a challenge for your family. We are happy to work with our families during this difficult time.
