Jacob Joseph Holloway was born on May 9, 2002. He is the son of Thomas and Melisa Holloway, and has three siblings: Chrissy, Paul and Jessie. 

Jacob has attended Temple since K5, but is currently studying at Apollo Career Center where he will graduate with his Fire 1 and EMT Basic certifications. After graduation in May, Jacob plans to become a firefighter and EMT.

Soccer has been a huge part of Jacob’s life, as he’s been playing it for 13 years. During his high school soccer career, Jacob earned awards including: honorable mention, first team, and a scholar athlete award.

One of Jacob’s favorite parts of high school was Spanish class with his friend Dillon Grover. During Jake’s free time, he said he “enjoys hunting, chillin’ with ‘the bois,’ fishing, and hanging out with his Apollo friends.” 

Jacob attends Crossroads Church of God. His favorite verse is “Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.” (Proverbs 13:10, New International Version)

His advice to the underclassman is to “Stay in school and don’t do drugs.”
