The admissions process helps us learn about each student and family while giving families an opportunity to learn more about Temple Christian School.
1. APPLY
Complete the online application and required forms.
- Complete our application online now
- Submit the $55.00 application fee
- Complete the Release of Records form
- Complete the Statement of Cooperation
2. REVIEW OF APPLICATION & SCREENING
We review the student's records and complete age-appropriate academic screening.
- Records Review: Previous academic performance, attendance, and disciplinary records are reviewed as part of the admissions process.
- Kindergarten: Students are screened to help determine academic readiness.
- Grades 1-12: Students complete STAR Math and Reading assessments. STAR results are considered together with the student's previous academic record and other admissions information when evaluating academic readiness.
3. ADMISSIONS INTERVIEW
Meet with school leadership to discuss the student, family, and TCS.
- Interview with the Superintendent and/or Principal(s).
4. ADMISSIONS DECISION
The school communicates its admissions decision after the application process is complete.
- An admissions decision letter will be mailed.
5. ENROLLMENT
For students who are accepted, the enrollment process begins after the admissions decision.
- The family will receive a Welcome Packet with information and instructions for completing enrollment.
- Submit any remaining required enrollment documents, including a copy of the student's Birth Certificate and Social Security Card.
- Complete any additional enrollment requirements outlined in the Welcome Packet.
- Once accepted: Apply for an EdChoice Scholarship, if eligible.
