Kamryn Elise Huffaker was born on Oct. 25, 2002, in DesMoines, Iowa. She is the daughter of Mike and Laura Huffaker. She has attended Temple for four years. During her high school career, she has achieved success by scoring a 160 in bowling.

While attending Temple, she has been involved in bowling and track. Kamryn’s favorite class is psychology because she loved learning more about the mind and its functions. Kamryn’s favorite school memory is “getting on the wrong bus in second grade.”

Outside of school, Kamryn watches TV, plays video games, reads the Bible, prays, and walks through her neighborhood. Her favorite food is mashed potatoes from KFC. Kamryn says if she could travel anywhere, she would go to the Hawaiian Islands. If she could have a superpower, it would be the ability to read people’s minds.

Kamryn’s favorite Bible verse is “In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1, English Standard Version).

Many people have inspired Kamryn to be mature and successful, she said. She wants to encourage the underclassmen to “enjoy every second of high school because it flies by fast.”

Kamryn plans to work for one year after she graduates. She then wants to attend Rhodes State College and get a degree in early childhood education.

Congratulations, Kamryn! God bless you in your future!
