Chance Evan Dyer was born on June 2, 2000. He is the son of the late Lori Dyer.

Chance came to Temple Christian School halfway through sophomore year, and has attended Temple for two and a half years. He participated in Temple Christian’s Choir. Chance says his favorite part of high school has been seeing and talking to Mrs. Finch. He appreciates all of her good advice and caring wisdom.

Chance attends church at Only Believe Ministries in Botkins, Ohio. His favorite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”

Chance plans to study criminal justice in college. He aspires “to have a great job and to love and provide for his future family.” He advises the underclassmen to “chase after God every day and show love and respect to those around you.” Chance says that the good environment of Temple has affected his life the most.
