Christian Xavier McClease was born in Lima, Ohio on September 17, 2004. His father is Jeremy McCleese and he has three younger siblings, Rayna, Harmony, and Asa.

Christian has attended Temple since the fifth grade. He has participated in basketball, track, choir, band, art, elementary chapel team, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Outside of school, Christian enjoys playing video games, riding his bike, and helping his grandma. His favorite animal is a rhino and his favorite food are hamburgers. If he could choose any superpower Christian would choose super speed.

Christian’s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 2:4-7, “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,  so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus."

One thing Christian will always remember about high school is the senior night basketball game. He said his senior year has been “quick, fun, and rewarding.” His advice to the underclassmen is to “study and sleep.”

After high school Christian plans on pursuing a career in computer science and cybersecurity.
