Cody Leigh Motter is the son of Doug and Kerri Motter. His siblings are Coy, Cendall and Cyler. He was born on October 8, 2003, in Lima, Ohio. Cody has attended Temple Christian part-time for 13 years and participated in many of our school's extracurricular activies, but will graduate as a homeschool student.
Cody's favorite class at Temple was Adobe Premiere with Mrs. Finch. He has participated in soccer, basketball, theater, and elementary chapel. Cody has also achieved NWCC’s Honorable Mention for basketball.
A favorite thing Cody like doing outside of school is hanging out with friends. Cody says if he could have any superpower it would be to be indestructible. His favorite animal is the silverback gorilla. His favorite book is “Unbroken,” by Laura Hillenbrand and his favorite cuisine is Asian food. Cody’s favorite class memory is sitting with the boys at lunch in middle school. Referring to athletics, Cody described his senior year as having "no major injuries."
Cody’s favorite bible verse is Revelation 22:21, “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.”
Something Cody said he'd always remember are those whom "I’ve grown up with through the years at Temple and the people I’ve met along the way.” His advice to the underclassmen is “Enjoy your time while you have it because sooner or later it’ll all be over.”
Cody is undecided on what exactly he wants to do after high school, but one thing is for sure is that it "isn’t medical school," he quipped.
Best wishes to you, Cody!
