Hello TCS families. Christmas is a wonderful time of year. Luke 2:8-11 says, “And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord”. Enjoy the Christmas season with your family. Here are a few news items that we wanted to share with you. Have a great weekend!

3rd Grade Science Experiment:
Third grade students have been learning about matter in our science class. This past week we experimented with "Oobleck." Students had to decide what state of matter it is, since it has the properties of both; a solid and a liquid!

Elementary Chapel:
The High School ministry led Elementary chapel today. They shared about the gift of salvation that Jesus gives and how it is THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL! They finished with a fun game with the elementary teachers. The first to be wrapped up won. Way to go Mrs. Rager and 1st grade!

Virtual Christmas Art Show Winners:
TCS students participated in a virtual Christmas art show sponsored by the Lima Baptist Temple last weekend. Congratulations to the following winners.

Elementary Art:
The Elementary art classes created stars while learning about Jesus as our Morning Star. We discussed that He is the Light of the World, and that His light never goes out. When we see our stars sitting atop our Christmas Trees, we will remember to shine His light at all times!
