Hello TCS families. Proverbs 18:15 says, “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge”. We are excited to challenge our students to become lifelong learners by continually seeking knowledge and wisdom. Here are a few news items that we wanted to share with you.
K5 Stem Activities:
The K5 had fun with a variety of STEM activities this week.
Picture Day:
Picture day is on October 8th. Picture retakes will be December 1st (this date was not on the original calendar).
Elementary Parents Lunch Cancelled:
Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the elementary parent lunch scheduled for October 16th. We look forward to resuming these events next year.
Reminders:
Please remember to send a water bottle and a mask with your child each day. We are able to meet these needs when students forget, but we encourage students to bring their own each day. Thank you.
See You at the Pole:
Wednesday, TCS students participated in the annual “See You at the Pole” event. We conducted small group and classroom prayer sessions praying for our country, our national, state, and local leaders, churches, schools, and communities. High school and middle school student government members met at the flagpole.
Junior Service Project:
Here are a few pictures of the Junior Bible class working on their service project. They are learning how to crochet hats for the homeless in Lima. Thanks students for being a blessing to others.
